is that AUTO-CODE runs INSIDE AutoCAD.
You have only one graphics system of to learn. Running AUTO-CODE inside
AutoCAD is easy, if you know how to use AutoCAD. The same types of
interfaces and menu selections used in AutoCAD are used in AUTO-CODE. The
first time through may appear a bit daunting due to the number of options
available at any time however once you have been guided through your custom
interface (where most things are left in the default states) you will see
how quick and easy - and powerful - this program can be for you.
We've provided a few tutorials in the documentation
section if you are interested in seeing how the program can be run.
2. Our second main feature
is that this software can be customized to
match your exact requirements. You can custom it or we can. Unlike
generic CAM solutions, ours can be improved to meet specific machining
application requirements and automation requests. AUTO-CODE is customized
using Visual LISP (the same tool for customizing AutoCAD) and a set of
text tables that can be changed using an editor provided in the package.
Advanced customization is achieved with Visual LISP where expert systems
can be created to create NC/CNC programs automatically from drawings created
to specific standards (determined by you).
