1) Download the free evaluation copy.

2) AutoCAD should NOT be running when you perform the installation.

3a) Unzip the ZIP file just download to a new folder. Using Windows Explorer locate the program SETUP.EXE in the new folder. Run the SETUP program.

3b) Run the EXE file just downloaded. Use the default choices to allow AUTO-CODE to unzip itself and install inside AutoCAD.

If you have multiple copies of AutoCAD (such as when you install Mechanical Desktop), then you must select the AutoCAD version to which the software will be attached.

4) A new directory will be created inside the AutoCAD program directory to hold the AUTO-CODE program files. All AUTO-CODE files in the AutoCAD program directory start with the letters "NCG".

5) Start AutoCAD, the AUTO-CODE menu should be visible in the top bar menu choices.
