Installing Custom interfaces:
Tools required: AutoCAD and AUTO-CODE must already be installed.
| Step | Process |
Download the ZIP file for the custom interface. Save the file on your local hard drive in a temporary directory (remember where!). |
Copy the ZIP file to the \POSTS\ folder located inside the AUTO-CODE program folder. AUTO-CODE's program folder is found inside AutoCAD's program folder in the Program Files folder. The AUTO-CODE program folder will start with the character NCG as in NCG42. |
Run the utility to un-zip the compressed files. They should all go into the \POSTS\ folder. Visit the WINZIP.COM web site if you do not currently have WINZIP or similar tool installed in your computer. |
Any files with the the extension TL need to be moved to either the TOOLS, PUNCH, or TURN folder depending on the interface type (mill and router tools go into TOOLS). If there are files with an extension of TL included in the interface file set, move them to the proper folder before uncompressing another ZIP file. |
The interface is now ready for testing. If you do not have an authorization code that type of interface, you can request a temporary one fax (USA-614-792-0956). Please indicate the request code, the type of interface, the name of the interface file set (Use ORDER.TXT file). |
